At Dr. Bethune’s Choice, we believe quality information is most useful when customers can see exactly what applies to the brand, the manufacturing facility and the individual product.
We aim to make important product information easy to review, including active or medicinal ingredients, directions, cautions, package information and product-specific regulatory details where applicable.
For applicable Canadian natural health products, a Natural Product Number (NPN) is product-specific. Where an NPN applies, it should be shown on the individual product page and/or product label rather than treated as a brand-wide certification.
Manufacturing and facility credentials are identified according to the organization, facility and scope shown on the supporting record. A manufacturing-facility certification should not be interpreted as individual product certification unless the product itself is specifically covered by that certification.
Where product-specific testing or supporting quality documentation is available, we aim to identify what was tested, which product or batch the record applies to, and the organization responsible for the record. We do not treat a general facility credential as a substitute for product-specific test results.
We review store content so that product statements remain consistent with available labels, product records and supporting information. We avoid presenting general wellness information as a diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention claim.
